Shirley Ann Dixon, 82, of Lake Panasoffkee, went to be home with her Lord on February 8, 2020. Shirley was born on February 8, 1938 in Elkton, Maryland to John Allen and Nona M. (Loveless) Sartin. Shirley moved to Lake Panasoffkee in 1979 from Chestertown, Maryland.
Shirley is of the Methodist Faith. Shirley worked until her retirement at the Circle K in Wildwood. Shirley enjoyed sewing, crochet, loved to fish, watch western movies and listen to Elvis and Gospel Music.
Shirley is survived by her children; Robert Dixon, Mike Dixon, Wanda Nix, Dorothy Baldwin, Mary Lamb, Grand-Children; Thomas Dixon, Michael Dixon, Lisa Abrams, Rebecca Bussiere, Ashley Nix, Joseph Hoar, Pamela Adamo, Eugene Hoar, 9 Great-Grandchildren. Visitation will be 5:00 - 7:00 PM with a service beginning at 7:00 PM, Saturday, February 15, 2020, in the Banks/Page-Theus Chapel. Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM, Tuesday, February, 18, 2020 in the Oakwood Cemetery, Raleigh, NC. Memorials may be made to the family to help with funeral expenses.
