Sharon Lazelle Boone's Obituary
Our beloved mother, Sharon Lazelle Boone, went home to Jesus on January 4, 2023, at the age of 79.
Sharon was born to Charles Amos Pilgrim, Jr. and Thelma Rueselle Pilgrim on January 26,1943 in Mascotte, Florida. As a teenager, she loved to jitterbug.
Sharon was passionate about sharing the love of her Lord with others. A loyal servant to God, she spent many hours dedicating her life to serving the Lord in her local church. You would find her most Sunday mornings singing in the choir and singing solos.
Sharon had many talents, but she loved crafting the most. She was an avid traveler and especially loved going to bluegrass festivals.
Sharon joins her father, Charles Pilgrim, her 3 husbands, Johnny Varnum, Jim Garris, and Joseph Boone, and her grandson Austin Varnum in Heaven. She is survived by her mother, Rueselle Pilgrim, her sisters, JoAnn Johnson (Preston) and Katherine Pharis (Bobby), her children, Grady (Jeri) and Randy (Rachel), her 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Monday, January 9, 2023, from 1:00 p.m. to 2 pm at Banks/Page-Theus Funeral Home, 410 Webster St, Wildwood, FL 34785. A graveside service will follow at Shiloh Cemetery in Fruitland Park.
