Samuel M Harden's Obituary
Samuel “Sam” Malcolm Harden, 82, passed away Thursday, February 24, 2011. Born in Ferndale, Fl, he lived much of his life in Lake County. Sam served and retired from the United States Air Force. After his retirement in 1970, Sam moved his family back to Montverde, FL. He also worked and retired from Continental Can Company in Winter Garden, Fl. In 1999, they moved to Oxford, FL. Sam always put his family first. He was extremely proud of his children and grandchildren. Sam was preceded in death by his loving wife, Earline. He is survived by sons: Curtis (Debra) Harden and Steve Harden; daughter, Phyllis (Franklin) Burnett; brothers: Vernon (Jewell) and Phillip (Ann) sister: Noreene (Ernest) Austin; grandchildren: Michael (Nicole) Miles and Tamra, Samantha, Patricia Harden; great granddaughter, Olivia Miles and great grandson, Levi Harden and many cousins, nieces and nephews.He was also preceded in death by his parents James Edward and Amy Elledge Harden, his brother: Richard; sisters: Hazel, Orvilla, Carolyn and Eunice and granddaughter, Kelsey Harden. The family will be present for a visitation from 2 to 4 pm on Sunday February 27th at Banks/Page-Theus Funeral Chapel in Wildwood, FL. The service will be held on Monday, February 28th at 3 pm, also at Banks/Page-Theus, Interment at Pine Level Cemetery in Oxford FL.
