Salvatore E. D'Angelo's Obituary
Salvatore E. D’Angelo, 84, Summerfield, FL. passed away on October 20, 2016 at Legacy Hospice House in Ocala, Florida. Mr. D’Angelo was born on April 15, 1932 in Maspeth, Long Island, New York to his parents Rosario D’Angelo and Emily Avitable. Mr. D’Angelo was a retired Sound Engineering Technician for RCA Victor. He and his late wife Emily moved 16 years ago to Summerfield, Florida from Greenlawn, Long Island, New York. He was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church, Belleview, Florida. Mr. D’Angelo was a proud veteran who served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict. He enjoyed gardening and being a member of the Woodworking Club of Spruce Creek. He is survived by loving family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and beloved wife Emily D’Angelo. A Mass of Resurrection will be held on Thursday, November 10, 2016 at 11:00AM at St. Theresa Catholic Church, Belleview, Florida with Inurnment to follow at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL with military honors. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to Hospice of Marion County in Salvatore’s loving memory. On-line condolences may be shared by visiting www.bankspagetheus.com.
