Ruth Mae Farkus' Obituary
Ruth Mae Farkus, 93, of Wildwood passed away Monday, March 14, 2016. Mrs. Farkus was born September 28, 1922 in Tampa to Henry Thomas and Mable Clair (Sheally) Williams. She has lived here most of her life and attended both the Faith Presbyterian Church and Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church. She was a server in the Wildwood Elementary School and then at the 76 Truck Stop retiring in 1980. Ruth loved to garden and stay on the go. Survivors include her children and spouses, Jean and Milton Prater of Dade City, Mary Andrews of Wildwood, William and Debbie Farkus of Wildwood, Mable Rogers of Wildwood, Ruth and Buzz Comis of Bushnell and G. Marie Siracusa of Wildwood; 28 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great-grandchildren. Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Nicholas, sons, Nicholas, Jr and Daniel, grandchildren, Tony Andrews, Linda Farkus and Christina Chambers. Funeral services will be held 2:00pm, Saturday, March 19, 2016 with visitation from 1:00 – 2:00pm in the Banks/Page-Theus Chapel and interment following the service in Oak Grove Cemetery.
