I happily remember Mrs. Johnson's southern hospitality and friendly demeanor as well as her quick witted conversation with the doctor (Hamp) and lawyer (Bruce) sons she was so proud of. I hope Mrs. Johnson's recipes for conch peas and pecan pie have been preserved by her family for future Johnson generations.
