Ronald F Watson's Obituary
Ron Watson of Yalaha Fl, passed away on January 12, 2017 at the age of 73.
Ron was born to parents George and Emily Watson on June 8, 1943 in Portland ME. He grew up the eldest of six and attended Cheverus High School.
After high school Ron pursued his dream of aviation graduating as an air-frame and power-plant mechanic from East Coast Aero Tech. Ron joined the
Army in 1963 serving for four years in the aviation field.He later became a corporate pilot until his retirement in 1995.
Ron married his wife Linda Sayers of Pittsfield, MA in 1972 with whom he had two sons.
Ron and Linda lived in Massachusetts, Maine, California, New Jersey, Indiana, and Michigan, before settling in Florida.
Ron is survived by his wife Linda Watson, his son, Ronald Watson II; his son, Gregg Watson; his brothers George and Frank; his sisters, Estelle,
Kathy, and Emily; Seven grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.
Ron is preceded in death by his father George Watson; and mother Emily Watson.
A celebration of Ron's life will be held at The Springs Park Area Inc. clubhouse in Yalaha, FL on Sunday January 15th from 12:00noon to 5:00pm.
Friends, family, and neighbors are invited to come and raise a glass to Ron.
