Roger Dale Sands' Obituary
Roger Dale Sands, 68, of Wildwood, passed away June 11, 2020 in The Villages. Roger was born on August 3, 1951 to Carl and Lorraine (Bishop) Sands, in Ocala, Florida and lived in the Sumter County, Wildwood area all his life.
Roger was a cowboy, he loved horses, would spend time hunting and enjoyed good food and a cold beer once in a while. Roger retired from the job he loved in 2005.
Roger is survived by his daughter Becky (Bo) Skipper of Wildwood, son Dale Sands of Wildwood, daughter Dawn Demascio of Leesburg, sister Cheri (Bill) McCarthy of Wildwood, brother Danny Sands of Wildwood, grandchildren Austin, Tucker, Rebecca Dawn, Brett, Jamie Logan and four great-grandchildren.
A public visitation will be held on Thursday, June 18 from 10-11 AM with a funeral service at 11:00 AM at Banks/Page-Theus Funeral Home in Wildwood, burial will follow at Nichols Cemetery in Oxford.
