Robert Stanley Dunlap's Obituary
Robert Stanley Dunlap, 60, of Lady Lake, passed away Monday, October 25, 2010. Mr. Dunlap was born in Memphis, TN, and moved to Lady Lake in 2008 from Mobile, AL. At age 16, he traveled the world with the Merchant Marines. He served in the U. S. Marine Corp, during the Vietnam War. He is a retired ship builder. He is a member of the VFW, in Mobile, AL and he enjoyed fishing. Survivors include his mother, Thelma Rodgers, of Lady Lake; two sons, Robert Stanley Jr., of AL, and Christopher of KY.; three brothers, Joe, of Lady Lake, Ted, of Houston, Harold, of Bradenton, sister; Donna, College Station, TX. He was preceded in death by his brother Walter. Visitation for Mr. Dunlap will be held Friday, October 29, 2010 from 10 A.M. to 11 A.M with funeral services to follow at 11 A.M. at Banks/Page-Theus Chapel. Interment will follow at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL. On line condolences may be left by visiting www.bankspagetheus.com.
