Robert Le Roy Skutt's Obituary
Robert Le Roy Skutt, 87, Leesburg, FL passed away on January 20, 2014 under the loving care of family at The Villages Hospice House. Mr. Skutt was born on March 30, 1926 in Bannister, Michigan to his parents Clifford and Mabel Skutt. Mr. Skutt was a Factory Manager for Mid West Abrasives in Ontario, Canada for over 35 years. He and his wife Anne moved to the area 15 years ago from Ontario, Canada. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Army, and was of the Catholic faith. He was a member of the American Legion of Lady Lake, FL and a Life Time Member of the 70th Division Association. He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years: Anne M. Skutt of Leesburg, FL: two sons: Jacques (Theresa) Skutt of Wildwood, FL and Steven (Motoko) Skutt of Bellingham, Washington; two Sisters: Beatrice Smith of Owosso, MI and Clarabelle Pyles of New Port Richey, FL; eight grandchildren: two great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, January 30, 2014 at 11:00AM at Banks, Page-Theus Funeral Home, Wildwood, Florida with Inurnment to follow at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida with military honors.
