Robert F Sandh Sr.'s Obituary
Robert F. “Freddie” Sandh, Sr., Wildwood, Florida went to be with our Lord on February 6, 2015 at Mission Oaks in Oxford, Florida under the loving care of his family. Mr. Sandh was born on March 19, 1924 in Lakeland, Florida to his parents Fred and Ruby Sandh. Mr. Sandh had worked for the Seaboard Coast Line Railroad as a Trainman with over 40 years of service. He was a member of the Wildwood Church of Christ where he served as an elder for 40 years. He was a proud veteran of World War II serving in the U.S. Navy and has resided here for over 68 years coming from Bartow, Florida. He is survived by his loving wife of 69 years: Hilda Sandh of Wildwood, FL; a son: Robert F. Sandh, Jr. of Orlando, FL; a daughter: Susan (Art) Meryman of Lecanto, FL; a brother: Lloyd Sandh of Bartow, FL; a sister: Virginia Voigt of Bartow, FL; five grandchildren: William Meryman, Amy Merritt, Lori Bigboy, Steven Sandh and Brett Sandh; ten great-grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life Funeral Services will be held on Monday, February 9, 2015 at 11:00AM at the Wildwood Church of Christ in Wildwood, Florida with visitation to be held prior to the service from 10:00AM till the hour of service at the church. A Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery, Wildwood, Florida. On-line condolences may be shared by visiting www.bankspagetheus.com.
