Longenecker, Robert Mason's Obituary
Robert Mason Longenecker, Jr., Fruitland Park, Florida went to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 12, 2025, in Fruitland Park, Florida. Robert was born on Saturday, March 13, 1993, in Syosset, Long Island, New York to his parents Robert Mason Longenecker Sr. and Donna Lynn (Suter) Longenecker.
Robert and his family moved to Fruitland Park, Florida in 2002 from Copiague, Long Island, New York. He was very creative and made custom creations for friends and family that were unique to each person. He could repair anything that was broken, and he could make something amazing from nothing. Robert was of the Protestant faith. He was a member of the Autism Peer Support Group. He was a collector and had a large collection of antiques and Transformers that he was extremely proud of. He loved all creatures great and small and wouldn’t hurt a fly.
Robert recently had the joy of experiencing his first love with his girlfriend, Amanda Barnett. His love for his family was boundless.
He is survived by his loving mother: Donna Lynn Longenecker and her fiancé Richard Del Mese of Fruitland Park, Florida; three loving sisters: Jessica Brouder and her husband R.C. Brouder of Olivet, MI, Crystal Cline and her husband Jared Cline of Fruitland Park, FL, and Brittany Rosario and her wife Aida Rosario of Ocala, FL; maternal grandparents: Raymond Suter, Jr. and his wife Evelyn Suter of Cape Coral, FL; uncles: Mike Suter and his wife Gina Grable of Cape Coral, FL and Ray Suter, III and his wife Heather Suter of Sayville, Long Island, NY; many loving cousins as well as many loving nieces and nephews and a very special long hair chihuahua Oliver.
Robert was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents and his beloved father, Robert Mason Longenecker.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at 12:00PM (Noon) at Banks Page-Theus Funeral Home 410 Webster St. Wildwood, FL 34785 with Pastor Brooks Braswell officiating.
