Robert L. "Buck" Elko's Obituary
Robert L. Elko, 78, Yalaha, Florida went to be with the Lord on May 18, 2017 at his residence under the loving care of family and staff of Cornerstone Hospice. Mr. Elko was born on April 10, 1939 in Evanston, Illinois to his parents Raymond and Louise Elko. Mr. Elko was the former owner of Elko Electric and had worked as an Electrician for many years. He moved to Yalaha from Brooksville, Florida in 1997 and was a member of The Fellowship Church in Leesburg, Florida. He was a proud veteran who served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He has graduated into the arms of the Lord. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years: Adell Elko of Yalaha, FL; his loving children: John (Sherri) Elko of Lutz, FL, Julie (Kerry) Hood of Portsmouth, RI, Todd Elko of Jacksonville, FL, Kimberly (Peter) Paolillo of Weeki Wachee, FL; a brother: Roger (Pat) Elko of Illinois; seven grandchildren: Catie, Tim, Sarah, Christopher, Hannah, Sophia and Brianna. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Raymond, Richard and Ronald. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at 3:00PM at The Fellowship Church in Leesburg, Florida with visitation to take place from 2:00PM till the hour of service at the church. The entombment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Leesburg, FL. Arrangements are entrusted to Banks/Page-Theus Funerals and Cremations, Wildwood.
