Robert "Bob" G. Haley's Obituary
Robert “Bob” G. Haley age 81 passed away Thursday, March 9, 2017 in The Villages, Florida. Bob was born in Memphis, Tennessee and moved to the Oxford area in 2015 from Pahrump, Nevada. He had a long career in sales and marketing working with the Buzza Cardozo Greeting Card Company and A. G .S. Publishing Company. Those closest to him will remember him as an extremely tenacious, strong and driven person with a very caring heart. He had a deep love of reading, the Denver Broncos, and loved watching comedy and action/adventure movies. He was also a skilled card player with “Garbage” a type of Gin Rummy being one of his favorite games to play, and the only thing he loved more than a good shrimp cocktail was spending time with his family. He leaves behind his wife of 59 years – Jane; 4 sons – William Rusty Haley of Sacramento, CA; Tim Haley of Dallas, TX; Gary Wayne Haley of Sacramento, CA; and Steve Allen Haley of Spokane, WA; a sister – Helen Haley of The Villages, FL; 6 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren.
