Robert "Bob" E. Byrnes' Obituary
Robert “Bob” Byrnes, 80, of The Villages, peacefully passed away surrounded by his family on Saturday, December 19, 2020. Bob was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. on May 7, 1940 to Maurice and Elizabeth (O’Gara) Byrnes. Bob led a full life, filled with his interests in flying, golfing, traveling, fishing, boating and spending time with his family and friends. He retired form Northrop Grumman after serving in the United States Navy. Bob is survived by his wife, Sally (Brown); children, Elizabeth Byrnes and Tracey (Vasyl) Datsyuk; stepchildren, Sara (Brennan) Hall and Daniel (Sharon) Brown; grandchildren, Melissa, Mackenzie, Addison, Svetlana, Ryan, Lily, Eion; great granddaughter, Michaela; as well as his sister, Elizabeth “Veni” Byrnes; and many Nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral Services have been cancelled at this time. Inurnment will be at Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton, N.Y.
