Robert J. Bennett, 80, of Silver Springs passed away Tuesday, May 5, 2015. Mr. Bennett was born June 19, 1934 in Brooklyn, NY to Julius and Edna (Moodhe) Bennett. He had served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was a retired Stock Broker. He moved to Silver Springs in 2008 from PA and loved rooting for the METS and GIANTS. Survivors include his children, Jim Bennett of Silver Springs, Judy Mann (David) of LI, NY, John Bennett (Sonja) of Ocala and Jennifer Early (Peter) of West Caldwell, NJ; brothers, Thomas Bennett and David Bennett; 5 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter.
