Richard E. Gregoire's Obituary
Richard Edward Gregoire 82, of Wildwood, FL passed away on January 21, 2018 peacefully in his sleep with his loving wife Joan of 58 years by his side after a long battle with Alzheimer's. Richard was born August 2, 1935 to Alphonse and Edna (Robidoux) Gregoire. Richard was pre deceased by his parents, his sons Michael and Scott Gregoire and his brother Robert Gregoire. Richard leaves his wife Joan (Rossmeisl) Gregoire, his son Timothy Gregoire and his wife Tina of Monson, MA his grandson Michael his wife Carrie and his great grandchildren Zachary, Tyler and Makayla Payne all of Monson. He also leaves his daughter in law Lynn Gregoire of Brimfield, MA, and his sister in-law Carol Gregoire of Stuart, FL. He also leaves 3 nieces and a nephew. Richard lived in Monson, MA for many years where he was owner operator of Richard Gregoire Construction. Richard and Joan moved to Florida in 1981. He continued to work in construction until his retirement. After retiring Richard and Joan became co owners of J&R Gregoire Antiques. Richard loved woodworking and was passionate about fabricating and restoring all types of furniture. Richard was a veteran of the Us Army serving from 1955 to 1957. Visitation will be on Thursday, February 8 from 12:30 to 1:30 at Banks/Page-Theus Chapel 410 Webster St, Wildwood, FL, US, 34785. Graveside services immediately following at the Florida National Cemetery, 6502 SW 102nd Ave, Bushnell, FL. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Orlando Alzheimer and Dementia Resource Center, 1506 Lake Highland Drive, Orlando Florida 32803.
