Richard G. Fowler, 68, of Wildwood, passed away Sunday, June 5, 2016. Mr. Fowler was born September 11, 1947 in Winter Haven to Leonard and Sarah (Hagan) Fowler. He was an U.S. Air Force, Vietnam War Veteran. Richard moved here in 1973 from Lake Wales and retired as an electrician with Progress Energy. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Wildwood and the American Legion. Richard enjoyed golfing and fishing. Survivors include his loving wife of 48 years, Janice, son, Alan Fowler and his wife, Stacy of Wildwood; daughter, Angela Ross of Lady Lake; sisters, Janice Jones and her husband, Gerald of Stilson, GA, Sandra Lancaster and her husband Charles of Ellabell, GA; granddaughters, Whitney Fowler, Jessi Fowler and Sophia Ross. Visitation will be 10:00am to 11:00am, with the funeral service at 11:00am, Friday, June 10, 2016, in the First Baptist Church of Wildwood. Interment will follow the service in Pine Level Cemetery, Oxford. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Pine Level Cemetery Association, Oxford Memorial Center, P.O.Box 420, Wildwood, FL 34785.On-line condolences may be shared by visiting www.bankspagetheus.com.
