Rexford "Rex" Robinson, Jr's Obituary
Rex R. Robinson, Jr., 91, of Wildwood passed away Tuesday. June 21, 2016. Mr. Robinson was born March 3, 1925 in Alachua to Rex and Margaret (Caswell) Robinson. He has lived in this area all his life. Rex was a U.S. Navy and Army Veteran of WWII and the Korean War. He retired from the Seaboard Coastline Railroad, was a member of the Wildwood Masonic Lodge #92 and loved gardening and fishing. Survivors include his children, Marena Owen (Tim) of Huntsville,AL, Rex,lll (Shelley) of Leesburg, Rane Robinson (Lou Ann) of Ruskin, Kelly Redding (David) of High Springs and Frances Hillis of Brooksville; 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Masonic Funeral Rites will be conferred at 2:00PM, Saturday, July 2, 2016 in the Banks/Page-Theus Chapel with family visitation from 1:00PM until the service begins. Interment will follow the service in Oak Grove Cemetery, Wildwood. There will be a memorial and a celebration of Rex’s life at the home of his son Rex III for all friends and family at 6:00pm.
