Rebecca Christine McCray's Obituary
Rebecca Combs McCray of Sumterville, Florida, 53 passed away surrounded by family August 23, 2020 after a hard fought battle with cancer. Becky leaves behind her fiance and love of her life William Morgan, her mother M. Eileen Ladue and late father Napoleon J. Ladue. Also her brother and best friend Gregory Combs jr. of Ludlow, sister Sarah Holever and husband Kurt Holever, Her two nieces Abigail and Elyse Holever. of S. Windsor Ct., her two beloved children Eileen Domainique McCray of Florida and Xavier G. McCray, his fiance Natasha Mae Dyer along with their children ("Mema's babies") Nova Sky, Xion Logan and Onyx Elias, her God children Jean Elizabeth Vance of Chicopee and Bryan Lynch of New York. Many cousins aunts and uncles and dear friends along with her "New York family" where childhood memories and relationships still ran deep.
Rebecca was born and raised in Ludlow Ma. and graduated from Ludlow High school in 1984. She always had a smile for everyone she met and had formed lasting friendships with so many along the way, everyone was touched by her genuine love and compassion..
She moved to Sumterville, Florida 8 years ago and devoted her life and love to Bill "honey" Morgan and the farm where every cow, goat, chicken, duck and critter were properly named loved and cared for ....all the while sharing her journey with friends through photos and posts sharing her joy.
A very special thank you to Bill and his family for loving and caring for our Becky in her times of joy, as well as in her times of need...it is truly appreciated.
There will be a small memorial/celebration of life for close friends and family at the family home on Saturday, September 26th from 1 pm to 4 pm. Please be aware we are trying our best to follow covid restrictions.
