Raymond Schnabel's Obituary
Raymond Schnabel, 79, of The Villages passed away Monday, March 19, 2018. Mr. Schnabel was born July 8, 1938 in Philadelphia, PA to Raymond G and Mary (Mallinowski) Schnabel. He was a U.S. Army Veteran serving during the Cuban Crises. Ray retired as a businessman and moved to The Villages in 2009 from Florence, NJ. He was a member of the Hope Lutheran Church, the South Jersey Club, Second Honeymoon Club and the Fernandina & Friends Club. Survivors include his loving wife of 57 years, Joan; children, Raymond A & Susan Schnabel of NJ and Ryan A & Diane Schnabel of Clermont, FL; grandchildren, Nicole, Matthew and Jimmy. Visitation will be 9:00 AM with the funeral service beginning at 10:00 AM, Thursday, March 22, 2018 in the Hope Lutheran Church with interment in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hope Lutheran Church, 250 Avenida los Angelos, The Villages, FL 32162.
