Raymond Robert Loeffel, 65, The Villages, Florida passed away suddenly on October 4, 2016 in Arizona. Mr. Loeffel was born on October 3, 1951 in Chicago, Illinois to William R. Loeffel and Laverne (Bell) Loeffel. Mr. Loeffel was a Retired Salesman in the Security Industry. He and his loving wife moved to The Villages, Florida from Orlando, Florida. He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Wildwood, Florida. Raymond’s father William R. Loeffel served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He is survived by his loving wife: Marie Schriefer of The Villages, Florida; three sons: Christopher (Bradie) Loeffel of Seattle, WA, Douglas (Cheryl) Loeffel of Holly Springs, NC and William (Patricia) Loeffel of Elgin, IL; a daughter: Lisa (Jason) Millett of Peoria, AZ; a brother: William C. Loeffel and his loving companion Kim Vilenti of New Lenox, IL; five grandchildren: Johnathan Loeffel, Penelope “Penny” Loeffel, Kate Loeffel, Damian Ganoe and Devin Ganoe; two loving nieces: Brenda O’Neill and Bonnie Loeffel. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister-in-law, Sandy Loeffel. A Mass of Resurrection will be held on Thursday, October 13, 2016 at 10:00AM at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Wildwood, Florida with entombment to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Leesburg, Florida. A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 from 5:00PM to 7:00PM at Banks, Page-Theus Funeral Home, Wildwood, Florida. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to the American Cancer Society in Raymond’s loving memory. On-line condolences may be shared by visiting www.bankspagetheus.com.
