Raymond Arthur Hanshaw's Obituary
Raymond Arthur Hanshaw, also known to his friends and family as "Buddy" age 70, passed away February 8, 2018 at his home in rural Summerfield. Raymond was born on March 10, 1947 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. His parents were Arthur Walter Hanshaw Sr. and Margaret Catherine (Waites) Hanshaw. He married Elizabeth Mullin, on May 24th 1969 in Green, New York, and she survives.
Raymond was in the U.S. Army in the Special Forces unit, then served a short stint in the U. S. Marines.
Raymond is survived by, along with is wife, his son, James and wife Alana of Belleview, daughter , Rachel Dueitt and husband Aaron of Belleview, brother Hank and wife Janet Hanshaw of North Caroline and brothers Artie and Danny of Texas, and 5 grandchildren, Mathew, Marissa, Savannah, Emma and Brooklyn.
Raymond will have a Memorial service at Oxford First Assembly of God Church at 10:00 AM Saturday February 17, 2018 in Oxford Florida, with Inurnment of cremains in Pine Level Cemetery, in Oxford, following the service.
