Paula Ann Watson's Obituary
Paula Ann Watson, 58, of Mt. Dora, passed away Tuesday, August 26, 2014. Ms. Watson was born December 14, 1955, in Oslo, Norway to the late Allen E. and Annabelle (Rivett) Berg. She moved to Mt. Dora in 2007 from Orlando. She was of the Catholic Faith and was working as a Dispatcher for the Wildwood Police Department. She had worked as a Dispatcher for the Tavares Police Department as well as the Orange County Sherriff’s Office. She was a K-9 Specialist raising and training German Shepherds and loved animals. Survivors include her 2 sons, George Watson of Mt. Dora and Steve (Holly) Watson of Winter Haven; brother, Allan (Pat) Berg of Winter Haven; 2 grandchildren, Skye and Harrison Watson and a very close friend, Cynthia Burnette of Wildwood. Paula’s family and friends may gather in the Banks/Page-Theus Funeral Home from 10:00 – 11:00am, Saturday, September 6, 2014, with a prayer service beginning at 11:00am. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to SUMTER DISASTER ANIMAL RESPONSE TEAM, INC., 720 E SOUTHLAND AVE, BUSHNELL, FL 33513,or to George Watson to assist in the final arrangements.
