Paul H. Claremont, 67, Wildwood, FL went to be with the Lord on December 5, 2012 at his residence in Wildwood, FL under the loving care of family and Cornerstone Hospice. Mr. Claremont was born on March 29, 1945 in Tupper Lake, New York to his parents Roy and Beatrice Claremont. He was of the Christian faith and had moved to Wildwood 3 years ago from Rochester, New York. Mr. Claremont was a Heavy Equipment Mechanic for the Department of Defense and a favorite hobby of his was to fix anything mechanical. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Vietnam conflict and continuing service in the Army Reserve till his retirement. He is survived by his loving wife of 15 years Margaret Claremont of Wildwood, FL; two sons: Timothy Claremont of New York and Richard Claremont of Michigan; a daughter: Brenda Schaafsma of Michigan; a brother: Scott Claremont of Texas; a sister: Ursula Godsen of New York; five grandchildren. A Graveside Service will be held on January 21, 2013 at 9:30AM at The Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL. On line condolences and memories may be shared by visiting www.bankspagetheus.com.
