Paul Arthur Boulay's Obituary
Paul Arthur Boulay, 90, of The Villages, FL passed away Saturday, October 1, 1016. Mr. Boulay was born August 16, 1926 in Fall River, MA to Francis Napoleon and Jeanette Theresa (Auclair) Boulay. He was a U.S. Army WWII and Korean War Veteran. Paul retired as a carpenter from the Fall River School system. He moved here in 2007 from Somerset, MA and was a member of St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church. Paul belonged to the American Legion Post 37, the U.S. Army 24th Division Lunch Group, the Fishing Club and the Woodworkers Club in The Villages. Survivors include his loving wife of 18 years, Joyce Haggerty Gibbons Boulay, whom he met on a trip to Ireland in 1997; children, Charles Boulay (Ida Geraldes) of Swansea, MA; James Boulay (Jane) of Pocasset, MA; brother, Dr. Roger Boulay (Susan) of Pittsford, NY; sisters, Joan Duval (David) of Westport Point, MA and Claire Boulay of Westport, MA; 4 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Paul was preceded in death in 1990 by his loving first wife of 42 years, Louise Eager Boulay; his parents and a brother, Francis who was killed in WWII and buried at Arlington National Cemetery. A funeral mass and burial will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be directed to St. Joseph Catholic Church Building Fund, 1335 N. Main St, Fall River, MA 02720.
