Patricia Anne Harvey's Obituary
Patricia Anne Harvey, 85, of Tavares, passed away peacefully in her home at Osprey Lodge, Saturday, June 6, 2020 surrounded by her family. Mrs. Harvey was born December 13, 1934 in Erwin, TN to James W. Ledford and Nina Belle (Banks) Ledford. Pat loved children, taught them in Sunday School and was a Kindergarten Teacher for several years. She loved her family and caring for others. Pat enjoyed making crafts and celebrating the holidays, but more than anything, she loved cooking and baking for others. Making everything from scratch, she poured her heart and soul into everything she made. Pat moved to this area in 1994 from Ft. Lauderdale and was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include her daughters, Rhonda Tracy (Dale) of Brooksville, Susan Abston (R.J.) of Leesburg and Linda Harvey (Becky) of Boca Raton; son, Robert Harvey, Jr (Kenia) of Miami; sisters, Katrina Emanuel (Chris) of Charlotte, NC, Phyllis Koehnle (Ken) of Hudson, OH and Sharon O’Dell (Harold) of Greenwood, MS; brothers, Charley Ledford (Vivian) of Erwin, TN, Roger Ledford (Esther) of Ft. Lauderdale, David Ledford of Lake Panasoffkee and Tommy Ledford (Shane) of Longwood; grandchildren, Robert, III, Brittany, Kristy, Trent and Brandon; great-grandchildren, Gracie and Amani. Pat was preceded in death on January 16, 2011, by her husband, Robert. A special thank you to all the wonderful and loving nurses, caregivers and staff at Osprey Lodge. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a family only visitation will be held 10:30-11:00 AM, with the funeral service beginning 11:00 AM, Thursday, June 11, 2020 in the Banks/Page-Theus Chapel. Interment will follow in Adamsville Cemetery.
