Patricia Ann Fletcher's Obituary
Patricia Ann Fletcher, 67, Inverness, Florida passed away on June 2, 2026 at Sturgill Care Center in Brooksville, Florida under the care of her loving family and staff of Sturgill Care Center. Patricia was born on April 26, 1959 in Knox, Indiana to her parents Algin Trent and Goldie (Campbell) Trent.
Patricia relocated to Inverness, Florida over 30 years ago from Knox, Indiana. She led a difficult life; one of ten children, a survivor of a car accident that left her with a broken back, a leg amputee, a survivor of breast cancer, as well as an unmarried widow and mother of two sons. Patricia strived to live passionately regardless and overcame these obstacles placed along her path.
She was a joyous woman of devout Christian faith, filled with a need to love and care for those around her. She made friends everywhere she went, lit up every room she entered, and made sure everyone she met had at least one moment of laughter in their day. Some of her favorite pastimes were spending a day under the sun at the beach, binge watching movies with her two sons, and whipping up a delicious feast to share with her loved ones. She was also an avid collector of religious ornaments, Coca Cola memorabilia, Beanie Babies and coins.
Patricia is survived by her loving sons, Rules Gurrola and his wife Alicina of Gainesville FL and Justice Gurrola of The Villages FL; her grandson, Julian Gurrola of Inverness FL; her brothers, Jeff Trent of North Judson IN and Algin R. Trent of Elkhart IN; her sisters, Tina Bailey of Plymouth IN, Tabitha Higdon of Goshen IN, Vickie Magurean of Port Charlotte FL, and Becky Brewer of Elkhart IN; as well as many loving nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her partner and father of her children, Michael Gurrola; her parents, Algin & Goldie Trent; and her brothers, Ronald B. Trent, Kenneth R. Trent, and Thomas H. Cole.
