Owen Terry's Obituary
Owen D. Terry went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, Dec. 12, 2009. Born April 28, 1936 to Maurice and Mary B. Terry.He was born in Gahanna, Ohio. He was a retired surveyor for Deltona Corporation in Naples, FL. Prior to moving to Naples in the late '60s, he was a resident of the Wildwood/Coleman area where he worked as a carpenter, TV repairman, volunteer fireman and as a City of Wildwood police officer. He is survived by his son Ricky (Sharon) Terry, daughter Mary (Don) Jarvis, mother Mary Terry, brothers Stanley (Peggy), Jim (Annette), Robert, Tommy (Pat), and Billy Terry and his sisters Patty Howard, Marie Bilbrey, Judy (Will) Mason and Sharon Lane. Additionally, he has 5 grandchildren Kimberley Hembree, Sonya Howard, Christopher (Rana) Terry, Ricky (Jamie) Button and Christy Norton, and 15 Great grandchildren. He was a loving father and avid softball player with a wonderful sense of humor and gusto for life.Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, December 18, 2009 atBanks/Page-Theus Funeral Chapel. Family and friends will meet atAdamsville Cemetery for a graveside service Saturday, Dec. 19 at 2:00 p.m.
