Ona Inez Smith's Obituary
Inez Smith, 81, of Sumterville passed away Thursday, February 15, 2018. Mrs. Smith was born December 16, 1936 in Ellijay, GA to John Frank and Elsie (Campbell) Hughes. She moved to Sumterville in 1998 from Oxford. Inez was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church of Sumterville. She loved fishing and caring for her family. According to her children, she was a great cook and made the best potato salad you have ever tasted. Survivors include her children, Sharon Fincher of Tacoma, WA, Johnny Smith of Leesburg, Sandra & Frank Smart of Sumterville, Albert & Wendy Smith of Creedmoor, NC and Susan Newton of Davenport; siblings, Debbie, Gary, Linda and Barbara; 16 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. Inez’s family and friends will gather from 4:00 – 5:00pm, and celebrate her life at 5:00pm, Tuesday, February 20, 2018 in the Banks/Page-Theus Chapel, Wildwood.
