Norman Robert Nicholas' Obituary
Norman Robert "Nick" Nicholas, 87, of Orange City, FL, passed away on March 15, 2026. Norman was born on May 17, 1938, in Pittsburgh, PA, to his loving parents, Jack and Colette (McCulloch) Nicholas.
Nick was a long time resident of the central Florida area since the 1990s, relocating several times before settling in Orange City. He was of the Catholic Faith and a member of the Knights of Columbus as well as other logistics and engineering clubs throughout the years. Nick was a proud veteran of the United States Navy Reserves for 8 years, and worked as an Aerospace Engineer.
Nick enjoyed spending his time outside on his boat, playing golf and tinkering around the house, as well as building model ships. Norman will be missed dearly and remembered fondly for his easy going and kind nature, he lit up a room when he walked in and was loved by many.
Norman is survived by his wife of 63 years, Pollyann Nicholas, a daughter, Mary (Frank) Diego, four grandchildren, six great grandchildren and two siblings, Jack and Jan.
Norman is preceded in passing by his parents, and a sister, Marian.
