Norma June Eber's Obituary
Norma June Eber, 78, of Oxford passed away Thursday, November 10, 2016 in Springfield, VA. Mrs. Eber was born June 8, 1938, in Pike County, IN to Clyde Benjamin Julian, Sr., and Reva Fern (Ashby) Julian. She moved to Oxford in 1990 from Homosassa Springs, FL, and was the Oxford Postmaster for 15 years before retiring. Norma was a member of God’s Divine Purpose Church in Wildwood, the Postmasters Association, NAPUS, and The National League of Postmasters. Also, she volunteered for many local community committees and projects. Survivors include her daughters, Renee Jones-Lugo of Springfield, VA ,and Sheila Neuber who is temporarily living in Springfield, VA; sons, Paul Jones of Homosassa Springs, FL, and Anthony “Tony” Jones of Port Ludlow,WA; stepdaughters, Cheryl Eber of Columbia, MO, and Cynthia Palazzolo of St. Louis, MO; stepsons, Carl Eber of Hartsburg, MO, and Richard Eber of Hershey, PA; brother, Clyde B. Julian, Jr., of Casstown, OH, and 9 grandchildren. Visitation will be 5:00 – 8:00pm, Monday, November 21, 2016 in the Banks/Page-Theus Funeral Home, Wildwood. On Tuesday, November 22 at the Oxford Assembly of God, 12114 N. US Hwy 301: pre-service visitation will be 10:00 am – 10:45 am; funeral service will be 11:00 am; interment will follow at Pine Level Cemetery located adjacent to the church. Instead of sending flowers, the family requests that donations of time, funds or other resources be made to local churches and charities.
