Nina Sabins Honaker's Obituary
Nina Sabins Honaker, 71, of Ocala passed away Monday, July 23, 2012. Nina was born October 25, 1940 to William Edward and Ruth Gleason in Bryan, Ohio. She graduated from Bryan High School, in 1958. While raising her 5 children, she worked at home running a daycare for 15 years. Nina moved to Sarasota, Florida in 1990. She was a manager at Shoney’s Restaurant for 15 years and moved to Ocala in 2008. She was of the Lutheran Fait, a member of the Ladies of the Moose in Ocala and loved her family, crocheting and her pool. She is preceded in death by: her father William Edward Gleason, husband Shaw Honaker, grand-daughter Jessica Manley. Survivors include her mother, Ruth Gleason, children; William (Wanda) Manley, Sara (Rick) Link, Laura (AJ) Karpinski, Shannon (Doug) Nowak, Mary Beth (Derek) Foss, 15 grandchildren, and 23 great-grandchildren. Nina’s life will be celebrated with a visitation from 5:00pm - 6:30pm and a service at 6:30pm on Thursday, July 26, 2012 at Banks/Page-Theus Funeral Home.On line condolences and memories may be shared by visiting www.bankspagetheus.com.
