Nicholas F Gallinaro's Obituary
Nicholas F. Gallinaro, 84, passed away on March 17, 2014. Born in Somerville, MA on February 25, 1930 and is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Maria Gallinaro and a brother, Armando. He was a graduate of Boston College. He served his country as a lieutenant in the Marine Corps during the Korean War. After his military service he began his business career of sales in the large mining and construction equipment field and later with a partner established his own company, GAR, which is still in business run by his sons.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Inez, and four sons and daughters-in-law, Michael and Cindi, James and Yung-Hee, Stephen and Lauretta, and Robert and Nancy. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, Jessica, Daniel, Thomas, Tyler, Tia, Lauren, Michelle, Andrew, Nicole, and Ashley. The lived and raised their children in Middletown, NJ and moved to The Villages in 2006. He was a die-hard Yankee fan and enjoyed hunting with his sons and business associates. A Roman Catholic he was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and was head of the ushers for many years;
A Visitation will be held on Friday, March 21, 2014 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM with a Wake service at 7:30 PM at Banks/Page-Theus Chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2014 at 10:00AM at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.
