Neil Eugene Currie's Obituary
Neil Eugene Currie, 61, of Coleman, passed away Tuesday, December 22, 2015. Mr. Currie was born April 1, 1954 in Leesburg to Donald E. and Mae Beth (Kain) Currie and was a lifelong resident of this area. He graduated from Wildwood High School and was a U.S. Marine Vietnam Veteran. He was a carpenter and fence builder. Neil was a member of The Villages of Faith Baptist Church in Wildwood and loved music, horses and his dogs. Survivors include his children, Donald Currie (Brandy) of Summerfield, Charity Meihls (Ryan) of Veedersburg, IN, Craig Currie (Shannon) of Wildwood and Brian Currie (Michelle) of Fruitland Park; sisters, Donna Thomas, Karen Shank and Phyllis McDonald; brother, Keith Currie; 12 grandchildren and a great-grandson. Neil was preceded in death by his brother, Mike Davidson. Funeral services will be held 11:00am, Monday, December 28, 2015 in the Banks/Page-Theus Chapel with visitation from 10:00 – 11:00 and interment following the service in Adamsville Cemetery.
