Needham Barney Chancey's Obituary
Needham Barney “N.B.” Chancey, 76, of Wildwood passed away Tuesday, December 27, 2011. Mr. Chancey was born February 11, 1935 in Lake Placid, Florida and has lived in this area for most of his adult life. He is a member of the Adamsville Baptist Church, a retired heavy equipment operator and enjoyed fishing, carpentry, country music and bluegrass music. Survivors include his loving wife of 23 years, Sylvia; sons, Rodney of Live Oak, Darrell and Dana both of Wildwood; daughters, Robbie Smith of Clewiston, Tanya Mikeals of Wildwood and Penny Flickinger of Mayo; brothers, Tony, James, Joe, Huey, Vonnie and Ray, Jr.; sisters, Jeanne, Janette, Trudy and Joyce; 17 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren along with several stepchildren, step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren. Funeral services for Mr. Chancey will be held 2:00pm, Friday, December 30, 2011, in the Adamsville Baptist Church with visitation one hour prior to the service.
