Morse E. Catt's Obituary
Morse E. Catt, 89, of The Villages, passed away April 3, 2020. Morse was born on December 30, 1930 in Hobart, Indiana to Hershel and Jessie (Doolittle) Catt.
Morse was a Jet Engine Machinist rebuilding and repairing jet engines for GE. He spent many years living overseas, while working with GE, and travelling the world. Morse proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. Morse loved to travel, play golf, spend time with family and friends, and restore old cars.
Morse is survived by his wife Elaine of The Villages, daughters; Brenda Catt of California, Michelle Yates, of Texas, and Stephanie Catt of Arizona, four grandchildren; Jennifer Ryder (David), Lesley Tate (Travis), Jecoa Catt (Aminda), Anastasia Richards (Ryan), six, great-grandchildren, and sisters; Jackie Stanat, Phyllis Rector, Kathy Griggs, and Sharon Pomykala.
Morse is preceded in death by two wives, Louise Miller and Marilyn Catt, grandson Joey Yates, younger brother Robert Catt, and sister Nancy Zwilling.
Interment will be held at Florida National Cemetery with full military honors at a later date.
