Minnie M Higgs' Obituary
Minnie M Higgs, 89, formerly of Wildwood passed away Tuesday, June 4, 2013 in Center Hill. Mrs. Higgs was born in Moultrie, Ga on May 27, 1924 to the late Robert and Nora (Sumner) Cox. She moved to Wildwood in 1959 from Moultrie. She had retired from Ballo Thermometer and was attending the First Church of God at Bushnell. Survivors include her sons, Lamar Higgs of Lake Panasoffkee and Wallace (Katren) Higgs of Buena Vista, Ga; daughters, Elaine (Doug) Milton of St. Johns, Phyllis Hanson Moffitt of Center Hill and Deborah Conway (Luis Rivera) of Coral Springs; 8 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, to whom she was known as “Big Mama”. In 2004, her husband, Robert Higgs, preceded her in death. Mrs. Higgs family and friends will celebrate her life 1:00pm, Sunday, June 23, 2013 in the First Church of God at Bushnell, 105 #E Central Ave, Bushnell.
