Minnie Loretta Davis' Obituary
Minnie L. Davis, 77, of Webster passed away Thursday, July 23, 2015. She was born May 1, 1938 in Hernando County. She was a homemaker. She enjoyed playing Uno and checkers and watching Christian television. She spent most of her life in Sumter County. Survivors include her six children, son Charlie Davis of San Antonio, daughter Rose Davis of Lake Panasoffkee, son Robert Davis of Sumterville, sons Johnny Ray Davis, Howard Davis, and Steve Davis, all of Webster; sister, Annette Terry of Sumterville; 11 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband of 51 years, John Davis and two grandchildren. Services will be held Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at the York Street Church of God in Bushnell. Visitation from 11am – Noon followed by the service at Noon with Pastor Daniel Kellum and Pastor Kenny Williams presiding. Interment will follow at the Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Lane Purcell Hospice House, Sumterville in loving memory of Minnie Davis.
