Mildred G Fort's Obituary
Mildred Arnold King Fort went home to be with her Lord on Thursday, November 7,
2013. She was born on October 17, 1929, to Max and Martha Arnold in Live Oak, Florida,
where she was the oldest of seven siblings. They relocated to the Citrus and Sumter
County, Florida area. Mildred owned King's Wrecker Service and Garage in Wildwood
and Rutland for many years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Max and Martha Arnold, her first husband,
Lester King, and second husband, Roy Fort, daughter, Tammy King Johnson,
step-daughters, Patsy King and Suzie Fort, and many other relatives.
Survivors include her siblings; Abbie Eckhart, Annie (Bill) Hall, Ruby Williams, Billy
(Pat) Arnold, Don (Sherry) Arnold and Edith (Mitchell) Crabtree. Her children:
Elizabeth Ann Williams, and Gene (Gail) King. Her step-children: Paul King of
Bowden, GA., Gail Fort Edwards, Beth Fort Tillis and Kenneth (Lena) Fort, and many
grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be at Banks-Page Theus Funeral Home at 410 Webster Street,
Wildwood, Florida with visitation 3:00pm – 5:00pm, Sunday, November 10, 2013 and service 1:00pm, Monday, November 11, 2013. Interment will follow at the Oak Grove Cemetery, Wildwood.
