Mildred was my mother by marriage and by God. She loved me like a daughter. She held my hand when I gave birth to my first baby girl. She taught me to cook cornbread and to sew my babies clothes. She taught me to use a pressure cooker. She taught me that God was my savior And true love was how your family treated each other with pride and joy. I would never had been the strong woman I am today without her in my life. A beautiful soul and beautiful lady. A wonderful mother and grandmother. I will love and miss you until we meet again in heaven.
