Merle B. Stauffer's Obituary
Merle B. Stauffer, 102, of Sebring passed away Tuesday, June 27, 2017. Mr. Stauffer was born July 28, 1914 in Mt. Morris, IL to Arthur and Gertrude Stauffer. He was a U.S. Army Air Corp Veteran of WWII earning the rank of Master Sergeant. Merle moved to Sebring 34 years ago and was the owner of a local laundry service until retiring. He and his wife, Kathryn, loved to travel in their motor home prior to her death. Survivors include his nephew, Gerald Stauffer of Mt. Morris, IL; sister-in-law, Kathryn Stauffer of Green Bank, WV and close friends Sandy & Cecil Rainwater of Sebring.
