Melba M. Bronson's Obituary
Melba M. Bronson, 86, of Coleman, FL, went to be with the Lord on January 20, 2026. Melba was born on November 27, 1939, in Coleman, FL, to her loving parents; Jasper and Edna (Roberts) Bronson.
Melba was a true native of Coleman Florida and a long time member of First Baptist Church of Oxford. She was everyone's Memaw and took great care of her adoring family. Melba enjoyed spending her time crocheting, gardening, feeding the birds and overall just being outside enjoying nature in her rocking chair. Melba was also a talented carpenter and built chicken coops, sheds and porches.
Melba will be missed dearly and remembered fondly by her loving family for her sassy and sweet spirit and over all being a kind, loving woman.
Melba is survived by her granddaughters; Jennifer Mower, Shannon Hunt, Stacey King, Ashley Fort, Kayla Brindac and Haley Sapp, as well as 13 great grandchildren.
Melba is preceded in passing by her husband; Richard Mathis, who passed away in 1987, her daughters; Anita Tipton, Deena Bronson and Tammy Hunt, her ten siblings, her parents; Jasper and Edna Bronson and a great grandchild.
