Maxine Floyd's Obituary
Maxine Floyd, 85, of Avon Park, FL passed away Saturday, July 30, 2022. She was born February 19, 1937 in Ocala, FL to Moses and Mary Packer.
She was a member of the Florida Branch NAACP and The Garden Club of Sebring, FL. She was on the selection committee for the South Florida State College Scholarship Awards. She was also involved in the growth of the Avon Park culturally and economically.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Moses and Mary Packer and a niece, Jacqueline Kingcade.
She was survived by her son, Jacques G. Floyd; sister, Saundra Weeks and many other loving family and friends. Maxine will indeed be missed by all that knew and loved her.
Maxine took her faith in God seriously and her membership in the Faith Pentecostal House of God 956 W Hal McRae Blvd, Avon Park, FL 33825.
Cremation has taken place at Banks/Page-Theus Funeral Home 410 Webster St. Wildwood, FL.
At this time the family is planning a private Celebration of Life Memorial Service.
