Maurita Crystal Webb's Obituary
Maurita Crystal Webb, 79, of Lake Placid, passed away Wednesday, June 18, 2014. Mrs. Webb was born October 22, 1934 in Bloomfield, Iowa to the late Arlo Franklin and Ora Grace (Gordy) Shook. She moved to Lake Placid in 1998 from Waynesboro, GA. She was of the Methodist faith and attended Bethel Baptist Church of Lake Placid. She was a homemaker who loved to cook. Survivors include her children, Steven Webb of Bessemer, AL, Martin Webb (Starlet) of Pleasant Grove, AL, Betti Owens of Huntsville, AL, Mona Breedlove (Danny) of Buhl, AL, Christopher Webb (Paula) of Garnett, KS; sisters, Mona Fletcher (Ken), Molly Williams (Bob), Lorraine Simmons (Rex); brother, Martin Shook (Carolyn); 13 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. Funeral services for Mrs. Webb will be held 11:00am, Monday, June 23, 2014, in the Chapel of Peace in Lakeview Memorial Gardens, Avon Park with visitation one hour prior to the service.
