Mrs. Maurine Cason, 86, of Tavares, passed away on July 4, 2020. Mrs. Cason was born October 8, 1933, in Carbondale, Illinois, to the late Charles and Dora (Fox) Ebbs. She was married to James Henry Cason, who preceded her on Sept Read Obituary
Mrs. Cason was a treasure! I worked with her at Sheen Elementary and Leesburg Elementary. Such a sweet, caring,genuine woman! We all adored and loved her!
Everyone at our school loved Ms.Cason <3. She was a substitute teacher at Skeen Elementary in Leesburg, and after a few years became a faithful library volunteer at Leesburg Elementary. The staff and the children thought she was wonderful. Never without a smile or a hug, she brightened the day of all the people she met on any given day. She was an exceptional volunteer and a beloved friend.
She was such as sweet lady. She taught my grandson and he thought the world of her. Heaven received another angle!
What a precious lady! She taught my son when he was in the third grade at Wildwood Primary. He thought the sun rose and set in her eyes. RIP, Mrs. Cason. Heaven has truly gained an angel!
