Aunt Mac! What can I say? She was always so sweet to me. My mom adored her! And of course, she was my dad's older sister so he loved and respected her. I always thought they were rich! Their house was immaculate! Why is it, I wonder, that the VanMeter girls were all such immaculate housekeepers? I remember dust bunnies running across the floor at their mom's house (my gma). I remember when they lived on rice street in barrackville and how uncle Dick would play his guitar and sing. I remember idolize get Ginger and Carol because they were so beautiful and classy, just like their momma! I remember her laugh! I remember when Ed and Roger were born and what wonderful and well behaved little boys they were. I remember Dickie dying and how hard it was on his family (and ours). I remember the square dancing outfits. She would stop by before a dance all dolled up and uncle Dick so handsome. They loved it. I remember how clean and tidy her house always was. She was kind. She was funny. She was kin. I'm so sorry for your loss. Hopefully we'll see her again one day. I love you all!
