Dear Larry, Meg, and family,
We are so sorry to learn of Mary Joan's passing. She was a dear beloved friend
of Mom (Louise) and our family, and we enjoyed many hours together with the
2 of them as they would regale us with stories of their adventures in golfing and
other life adventures.
Her sense of humor was delightful, her laugh infectious.
I remember one of their adventures involved going to a restaurant to pick up some
wholesale seafood they had been told about...... only to end up at the back door of the kitchen of a 'biker bar' where they 'stood out like a sore thumb'. They quickly realized
someone had played a joke on them, sending them on this adventure. They
got in the car as quickly as they could and beat a retreat to the 19th hole at
Miona Lake Golf Club and shared a good laugh.
I am sure she and Mom are sharing some laughs together and having a good
time remembering their adventures together.
She was a sweet lady and dear friend to our entire family.
