Marvin Ernest Stafford's Obituary
Marvin Ernest Stafford, 76, of Wildwood, passed away Sunday, June 28, 2015. Mr. Stafford was born May 2, 1939 in Fairmont, WV to the late Charles Arthur and Mildred G. (Stone) Stafford. Marvin was a retired Bruce Kennedy truck driver. He was a member of the Sandhill Assembly of God Church in Doddridge, AR. and he attended the Wildwood United Methodist Church. He was a member of the Sumter 44 LIONS in Wildwood and loved watching football, especially when the Steelers were playing. Survivors include his children, Robin Lynn Stafford-Monk (Richard), Michael Todd Stafford, Leslie Scott Stafford and Brian Keith Stafford (Kara); sisters, Marion Pirkheim, Hazel Frost, Genevieve McPherson and Sandra Ashcraft; 11 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren and close friend Yvonne Carroll. Marvin was preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Loretta J. Robinson Stafford; siblings, Charles Stafford, Jr. and Virginia Stafford. Visitation for Marvin will be 6:00pm – 8:00pm, Tuesday, June 30, 2015 in the funeral home. Funeral services will be 11am, Wednesday, July 1, 2015 in the Banks/Page-Theus Chapel with interment in Greenwood Cemetery, Wildwood.
