Marvel W. Harden's Obituary
Marvel W. Harden, 93, Eustis, FL formerly of Ocala, FL passed away on July 12, 2017 at the Tavares Hospice House in Tavares, FL. Mrs. Harden was born on March 28, 1924 in Clayton, Michigan to her parents Clarence Grover Henning and Leila Fern (Wood) Henning. Mrs. Harden and her husband moved to Central Florida in 1984 from Jackson, Michigan. She was a retired sales clerk from J.C. Penney in Ocala, FL. She was of the Methodist faith. She was an avid reader, liked to play cards, shopping, going to flea markets, attending concerts at Silver Springs, camping in her R.V. and traveling with her loving husband. She is survived by her loving husband of 40 years: Albert Harden of Eustis, FL; children: Cheryl Weaver (Bob) of Kalkaska, MI (formerly of Hudson, MI), Cindi Ost of Jackson, MI and Tearance Harden of Jackson, MI; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Harden was preceded in death by her late husband Wynn Roney, a son, Patrick Roney, a brother, Gerald Henning and a sister, Wanita Church. A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at 3:00PM at Lake Ridge Villages, Eustis, FL. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to Cornerstone Hospice at 2445 Lane Park Rd, Tavares, FL 32778 in her loving memory.Arrangements are entrusted to Banks/Page-Theus Funerals and Cremations, Wildwood.
